INTERNATIONAL JUDO
TOURNAMENT SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER 2002

With great pleasure we wish to invite you for the 17the International JRF Zoontjens Judo Tournament, organised by Judo Ryu Friesland. The tournament will be held in Bergum a town in the Friesland province in North Netherlands, situated about 18 kilometres South-East of the capital city Leeuwarden.
We would be delighted if you would accept
our invitation to this attractive and strong international Judo tournament
(including competitors from Germany, Finland and Belgium). A trophy will be
awarded to the best team in the tournament.

have the right to put different class-weights by each
other.

Regulations:
Registration: To
register send, or email the enclosed form to the tournament commission
(detailed overleaf) , and marking competitors competing for the club
trophy with an X (maximum of 10
competitors).
Enrolment fee: Euro 6,- per competitor, the payment can be made over on the bank number 34.33.72.576 off Judo Ryu Friesland with the name of your club/school.
The registration
will be definitive when the amount of enrolment fee is
paid.
Start: Competitors, competition and weighing
will be printed on their tickets (first competition round starts at 9.00u
a.m.).
Closing
date: The closing date is 27 october 2002, registration will
work on a first come, first served basis, up to a maximum of 700
competitors.
Competition
system: Double elimination, unbeaten champion, beaten twice
is end of competition.
Changing
weight: Weight changing should be received no later than the
date printed on the competitors ticket, as changes on the day of the
tournament cannot be guaranteed. At all times, the tournament commission
has the right to combine weight classifications due to shortage of
competitors.
Coaching: Coaching tickets will be allocated
depending on the number of competitors registered. For every 10
competitors 1 coach ticket will allocated, up to a maximum of 4 tickets
per club. Coaches must be 18 years or
over.
Competitors: Every competitor must be a member
of a union, and therefore be able to show a judo passport. Competitors can
only compete in one classification of weight and is always at their own
risk
Permission: The
tournament is approved by the Dutch Judo Union
(J.B.N.).
Responsibility: Judo Ryu Friesland is not
responsible for damage, theft and accidents at the
tournament.
