INTERNATIONAL JUDOTOURNAMENT, 4 AND 5 DECEMBER 2004.
Dear sport friends,
It pleasures us to invite you for the 19th International Judo Tournament in Burgum, organised by Top Judo Noord. Just like previous years we hope also this year that we can count on a tournament level of (inter)national class from as well as, both Dutch judoka’s and foreign judoka’s (among others Germany, England, Finland and Belgium). Because of the big sympathy for the tournament we adapted the plan. The tournament will be hold on 2 days. That gives the judoka’s likewise the possibility to enter for more age category’s.
The best achieving judo club at he tournament can win a challenge-cup. Besides, there is the possibility to let note Dan degrees according to the usual rules of the Judo bond.

Boys and girls (age –15) born in 1992 / 1991 / 1990 Boys -34 –38 –42 –46 –50 –55 –60 –66 en +66 kg. Girls -32 –36 –40 –44 –48 –52 –57 –63 en +63 kg.
Gentlemen and lady’s (age –20 and +20) born in 1987 or earlier Gentlemen -55 –60 –66 –73 –81 –90 –100 and + 100 kg. Lady’s -48 –52 –57 –69 –70 –78 and + 78 kg.

In the event of insufficient contestants in a category keeps the organisation themselves the right to link up weight category’s.
Everybody can give themselves up for 2 age category’s, except the judoka’s from the –12 years category.

Regulation

Entry: By E-mail to ericzoontjens@tori.nl, send the entry form to
Eric Zoontjens De Bjirk 18 9251 NJ Bergum or fax it to 0511-464521. Besides, at the entry form you can register wich judoka’s will join for the challenge-cup (max. 10 judoka’s), for this you have to sign under column Cup an X. For more information you can call to Eric Zoontjens +31651600470.
Enrolment Fee: € 8,- a judoka, pay simultaneous with the entry at account number 320906140 in the name of Budovereniging Tori mentioning your sports school or society.
The entry is only definitive when the enrolment fee has arrived.
The cut-off date: Closing is the 1st of November 2004 or sooner at the reach of 1000 participants.
Tournament system: Double elimination, unbeaten champion, lose twice is out (when there are less than 6 participants in a certain weight category, the pool system will be handled).
Pool over: The only possibility to do this is the 29th of November between 20.00 hour and 22.00 hour or with an e-mail until the 30th of November. On the tournament day self is this only possible by a payment of €5,-.
Coaching: Coach cards in proportion to the number of participants. The minimal age of the coach have to be 18 years. One coach card a 10 participants, with a maximum of 4 coach cards for one sports school or society. Coach cards are personal.
Participants: Every Dutch participant is a member of the J.B.N. and can show their passport. There’s only the possibility to take part in one weight category. Participation is on own risk.
Referees: The decisions of the referees are binding. There are three referees at the seniors and juniors.
Permission: The tournament has been approved by the J.B.N. and the district Northern-Holland.
Liability: The organisation is in no way liable for harm, theft or accidents, doesn’t matter what shape it is.
Participants cards: At the day of the tournament, the participants cards are ready to be picked up at the entry of the sport hall (so they won’t be send). A message with the weigh times will be mailed or send to you far before the tournament starts.
